STRENGTH: PAUSE FRONT SQUAT

Let’s go back to the ‘pause front squat’ this week. Today, we are going to be working single rep ‘Pause Front Squats.’  Take the bar off of the rig in your front rack, brace your core, descend into the ‘hole’ of the front squat and then stay there for 3 seconds! After, you obviously have to stand up the rep!

Pause Front Squats will increase your time under tension, force you to keep your core engaged throughout the entire rep and help maintain your spinal integrity when you are squat cleaning! We will talk more when we are at the whiteboard!
