Strength: Back Squat
We have hit the ‘halfway point’ in this 20 Rep Challenge cycle. Three weeks ago we started off at 50% of your 1 RM, and each week we have added 5 lbs to your number. This week the math will look like this:
50% 1 RM + 15 lbs
Every week, for the next 4 weeks, we will be adding 5 lbs to your total and squat it 20 times (in an unbroken set). This means you need to take notes so you know where you are. In the famous words of Mike Savat, ‘What gets written down gets measured. What gets measured gets managed. What gets managed gets improved.’ We’ll talk more before we start!
